The Deltones as they appeared in February 1960. This photo was taken at the Jay, Florida, American Legion Hall where we were playing, what was essentially, a square dance.

This band was made up of entirely US Navy personnel from Whiting Field in Milton, Florida. The picture was taken before the band was 'adopted' by manager, Johnny Fraser and prior to Jackie Morningstar, a local civilian, joining as yet another rhythm guitar and lead vocal.
